Fractions

My learning intention is to know how fractions work and how I can do them by myself.

I learned that fractions can be used by a pie or a pizza because they are circles and can be sliced into 1\2, 1\3, 1\4 1\5 and more.

I learned by going up on the internet and getting some pictures that shows the same thing as a normal fraction chart. Underneath the picture I had to write what fraction the picture shows so people know what the fraction is.

My learning intention is to know how dangerous plastic can be and how harmful it can be to plants, animals, sea creatures, and our planet.

I learned that plastic can be really harmful and dangerous to animals, sea creatures, and plants. It can also be very harmful to turtles. The turtles would think that the plastic is jellyfish then eat it. They will die.

I learned that plastic is really dangerous and it can harm many things. On this month of July there is a special event called “Plastic free July”. It is when there can be plastic everywhere. So that means anyone can bring plastic to New Zealand or there can be plastic in other countries.  

Three way venn diagram character description

My learning intention is to know how to make a three way venn diagram along with a character description.  

I learned to describe three characters in a three way Venn diagram. The three characters was Matilda, Miss Trunchbull, and Mr Wormwood. The three characters are from the book Matilda.

A three way venn diagram is the same thing as a two way venn diagram but just with more ideas and more space. You also have more space in the similarities since there is a third circle. Mr Wormwood and Miss Trunchbull has the same personality so it's obvious that that’s a similarity.  

How I Celebrate Celebrations with my Family

My learning intention is to know how i celebrate celebrations with my family.

I learned about celebrations I have done with my family and how I celebrate it. I mostly celebrate Diwali and other celebrations that I know and me and my family does.

I also learned that Diwali has patterns on the ground that represent the celebration. I also did a celebration about Easter, Christmas, and Halloween.
